This professional will be responsible for the supervision of the Maintenance Team in conjunction with work orders and requests, ensuring maintenance tasks involving plumbing/piping, air and water filtration, grow tables, gutters, drains, roof leaks, duct leaks, "handy" work, and general site improvements are completed in a timely and efficient manner and within budget.

Principais responsabilidades

  • Runs morning "tailgate" meetings to keep Facilities Manager, and Maintenance team up to date and on task
  • Ensures that Maintenance team members remain compliant at all times especially in relation to safety and task completion
  • Acts as the single point of contact between the Facilities Manager and the Maintenance team
  • Acts as the representative for the Facilities Maintenance department in all GMP related meetings including the Change Control Committee
  • Ensures that Change Control procedures are followed where required when fulfilling work requests
  • Maintains Emaint to track maintenance schedule of all equipment and clearly communicates to the Facilities Manager any parts or equipment needs that are crucial for the team to remain compliant with all regulatory bodies and necessary for the team to complete task
  • Works in collaboration with other supervisors to create checklists that ensure that equipment is being used within its intended operating range
  • Ensures that major equipment and permanently installed processing lines used during/or to support production of an intermediate or API are appropriately labelled and identified
  • Ensures that written procedures are established and followed that assign responsibility for sanitation and cleaning schedules, methods, equipment, and materials to be used in cleaning Equipment
  • Completes paperwork and ensures that the Maintenance team have work orders for all the work the team undertakes
  • Fills in any labor gaps that arise due to excessive workloads, vacation time, and/or illness amongst the other members of the Maintenance team
  • Creates work orders, enters completed work orders using PM software
  • Responsible for Contractor management and orientation
  • Participates in CAPA/risk management reviews
  • Works in collaboration with other departmental leaders to create compliant Standard Operating Procedures

Perfil desejado

  • Must have completed post-secondary CEGEP/vocational or technical training and must be a Red Seal certified technician in a relevant trade, ie. Mechanic, Instrumentation, Electrician etc.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years related experience

  • Must have knowledge and experience using hand tools and low voltage (PLC) trouble shooting
  • Knowledge and experience with DDC, DCS, BAS, or BMS process control software would be an asset
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure with a strong attention to detail
  • Must be organized and able to document all work
  • Must be task oriented and be able to keep the Facilities Maintenance team occupied and working with the DDC team to keep production on schedule
  • Proven ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Applications is required

  • Must have the ability to obtain A/RPIC status as per Health Canada Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations
