The Account Controller assures the registration of accounting operations and contributes to the
reliability of accounting and financial information. You'll be responsible for the first level of accounting controls.

Description

• Perform controls to cover the accounting risks (comprehensiveness, accuracy, evaluation,
  accounting, cut off and presentations);
• Carry out the accounting controls allowing the explanation of accounts to both French and
  IFRS norms, and throughout all the perimeter (balance sheet, income statement, off-balance
  sheet);
• Carry out additional / complementary controls (alerts or integrity controls);
• Detect and correct all the identified anomalies and assure its follow up;
• Escalate any type of malfunction identified during accounting controls;
• Normalise all tasks in order to guarantee auditability;
• Participate in the elaboration of new accounting procedures (accounting schemes);
• Participate in the business projects that have an impact on accounting areas;
• Be the privileged contact between back officers and accounting experts.

Profile

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or Management;
• Minimum of 2 years of experience;
• Fluent in English and/or French;
• Good communication skills;
• Banking environment;
• Capacity to strictly follow up process;
• Complex decision making, initiative and forward thinking.
